Course Description
This course exposes the students to the varieties of
reading materials and writing strategies in order to enhance their academic
skills. It adopts a content-based approach to the development of reading,
writing, and critical thinking abilities. Furthermore, it focuses on stages of
the writing process and the structure of academic writing.

is a theoretical course. Hence, the learning of the students will be assessed
through the annual examination held by the Office of the Controller of
